221g pink - Chennai consulate - November

Here are some details about my case:

- Interviewed Nov 15, 2011, at Chennai

- H1B first time visa stamping

- No Muslim or Muslim-sounding name

- Got 221g once before for F1 renewal, and now again

The VO asked a few questions about my PhD research and decided I needed further administrative processing. I've a few questions about this, appreciate any thoughts:

1. Last time I got this 221g, I submitted replies to a questionnaire + my CV. This time, they asked for only CV. Does this mean anything or just that the process has changed?

2. Anybody in roughly the same boat as me? In particular, wondering if anyone with a non Muslim name has been waiting for really long?
