arpan25
My wife is on OPT and my priority date will soon be current (July 2008). Would it be risky to add her to my I 485 considering that she is on F1- OPT which shows non-immigrant intent ? Please Advise, thanks, Arpan. Link to comment
Attorney_6
Spouses are not "added" to the I-485. Spouses file their own I-485s, based upon the primary spouse's PD and EB category. It is possible to file an I-485 for a person on OPT. Whether or not it is advisable depends upon various factors, including when the person last applied for a visa and/or last entered the U.S. Link to comment

Will that have a negative effect ? Link to comment
