tarungos Posted November 27, 2011 Report Share Posted November 27, 2011 I recently got the visa stamped on my passport after waiting for nearly 2 months after 221g. My I-797 was approved for 3 years but they have stamped the visa for only 2 years. Now my question is that do I need to go back to India for stamping after 2 years for 1 more year? then perhaps again go for stamping in case of H1B extension? Is it common to get H1B visa for only two years after 221g processing? Link to comment
