Steps to follow for H1 Stamping

I am going for my stamping next month and didnt find any complete list so here is what I think steps and documents needed for stamping . Let me know if any one thinks anything is missing or you can add any additional things to this list .

Get HDFC Recipt

User HDFC recipt and take date . Only dates of 15 days after current date are available .

Fill in DS 160 . If you are interviewing with wife make sure to go as a family and mention that in DS 160 .

Make sure that following documents are available .

1) Passport

3) Employment Letter

4) Last 6 months paystubs

5) W2s for last 2 years

6) Previous work Ex letters

7) 1040 for last 2 years

8) I-797

9) I-129

10) LCA

11) All previous I-20s (If you were on F1 Visa Before)

12) Appointment receipt

13) Passport size photographs

Documents for H4 If stamping with wife

1) Marriage certificate

2) Marriage Album

3) Wedding Invitation

4) All above listed documents if wife is going alone

If visa is approved you will be able to pickup passsport on next business day.

If 221g is issued VO will handout a list of documents
