manimails Posted November 16, 2011 Report Share Posted November 16, 2011 I got an approval for my H1B Extension(got 1797) and i filled extension for my wife along with my petition, but my wife case show initial review .. how long this will take ? is my wife petition will also consider as premium or regular ? Attorney_22 Posted November 17, 2011 Report Share Posted November 17, 2011 Generally, an H4 petition concurrently filed with an H1B petition will be processed in approximately the same time period. If there is a delay of more than two weeks it is advisable to contact USCIS and submit a Service Request. If the petitions were filed pursuant to premium processing it is advisable to submit an email to the premium processing service.
