H1 stamping ( First time)

Hi All,

I am planing to go for stamping. I am from india and this is my first time stamping on H1B. I am thinking to go Canada for stamping.

1)Does it necessary to go India for first time stamping?

2) Because of Visa date issue in india, Is it legal to go canada for stamping? if yes, which state in canada has good chance to get stamp easy?

F1-H1 ..yes you can go..L1-H1 i dont think you can go to canada...

I am in same situation, transitioned from F1 to H1, now want to get stamp, would like to go to torronto or vancouver. I am a direct employee, a research staff at a university.

Did you get the stamp? FYI you can get canadian tourist visa within 5 business days by mail.
