Very urgent: L1 to H1 transfer and H1 stamping in India.

Hi,

I am currrently working for a product company A on L1 visas and am working with client called as "X" at client location . My client is a also very remowned in his field and is a $3 billion client. My company A is a $ 2billion company with very well known name in its product space. My L1 visas are expiring on Jan 18 2012. I am travelling to India from Nov 25 until Dec 25th. During this time my company A plans to file my H1 via premium processing and says it will send the approved documents to India and I should go for H1 stamping while am in India in Dec. I am doing the role of Technical Delivery Manager.

I want to know is it safe to travel and take the risk of stamping since I am hearing lot of H1 rejections on Employer Vendor Client model (EVC)? Please advise.
