windowsxp
One my friend had TB 7-8 years ago and he took the treatment in India and he is not active with the TB. Can some one tell me if he needs to file I-485 what should he be doing if the TB test comes positive again? Link to comment

my2239
He has to get a chest x ray If the x ray shows signs of any TB (as per radiologists opinion in USA) your friend needs to undergo treatment at the local health departments recommendation and show proof that he is undergoing treatment and still file 485 If the x ray is negative, there is nothing to worry and he can file the 485 quoting the radiologist opinion and of course the doctor who does his medicals is supposed to include the chest x ray report in support of his claim that the 693 (medicals) form is otherwise good Of course a lot depends on USCIS's subjective opinion but generally they don't create a fuss if a Doctor either rules out TB or if the health department approves that treatment has started all the best Link to comment
