cali19
Hi, My H1-B was approved in May 2011 by a company A as petitioner. The company got acquired by another company B in Aug 2011 and the company B has filed for an amended petition with B as petitioner under premium processing. On Oct 29 2011, USCIS sent an electronic receipt but my name was misspelled by one letter. Its been 10 days and my status is still in 'acceptance'. Also, the attorney mailed them to correct the name and hasn't received any response. Should I be worried? Will they normally correct the name before approval ? If not, how long does the process to get the name corrected take after approval considering it was premium processing? Link to comment
cali19
Now, I actually received an approval notice through email too but it again has the wrong spelling of my name even after emailing them twice. I have called the customer center about this now. What is the procedure to get the spelling corrected on the approval notice if they make the mistake on the hard copy of the notice too? This was their mistake since the I-129 submitted had the right spelling. Link to comment
