bhalc
Hello Friends, I am aware of the fact that in order to do the H1B visa transfer one should be physically present in the USA. Just wanted to confirm. Is it possible that I initiate the premium transfer process and leave the country for 2 weeks and after coming back move to new employer (this will take another 2 -3 weeks e.g. notice to current employer and transfer of work etc.)? Thanks B Link to comment
engineer.nh
I am in the same boat. Here is my situation - I work as full time employe for Company A (mid-size 300 employees) since last 3 years on H1B. I got the H1B extension approval on 4 Nov. I also have offer letter from Company B and they have applied for my H1B visa transfer on 7 Nov in premium processing, I am expecting to get it approved by 23 Nov. I am planning to go for stamping to OTTAWA, Canada on 15 Nov. Is it advisable to go for stamping on Company A H1B visa approval (I-797)? When I go for visa stamping, Will Visa officer know about my second petition and what will be its consequences? I am afraid that visa officer might revoke the visa peition of Company B. Is there any chance of happening such? I appreciate all of you guys replies in advance. Thanks. Link to comment
