H1-B Visa Stamping in Chennai, with prior visa stamp expired more than 12 months

Hello All,

Quick question, I am trying to schedule an h1-B visa stamping appointment in Chennai. I am on my 7th year of H1-B and my visa stamp has expired in September 2010. I noticed on the VFS website that "only people who are appying for same visa class and their stamp has expired within the past 12 months are eligibile for shceduling visa renewal appointment"

My question is, what am I supposed to do to schedule my visa stamping appointment or am I missing something.

Any insight would be highly appreciated.
