F1 to H1 from Chemistry to Software - Please help

Hello every one,

I came to U.S on F1 to pursue Masters in Chemistry. I didn't get any job after my Masters and I got trained in people soft and working from last 1 year on OPT. Now I am planning to do H1 in people soft. My consulting company is saying its not possible to get H1 as my background is different. I got only 8 months of OPT left. Please give suggestions to get H1 visa with in 8 months.

You are already working illegally. On OPT, you can only work in your field of study.

And an H1 also requires a degree in the field of work.

So, first you need to stop working immediately. nd then you need to see a good immigration lawyer ASAP.
