testingforum Posted November 5, 2011 Report Share Posted November 5, 2011 I got my green card last week through Eb1 Category & my priority date was 14th Mar 2011. My family is still in India, but they were already present in his I-140 & I-485 application. So now I am filling in I-824 application for them. So I guess my family will be on the same priority date. Couple of questions I have: * Given that my family was already on my I-485 application, Do I have to fill any other forms (I-130?) along with I-824. * How long does it take for their application (I-824) to go through..will they use 14th Mar2011 as the priority date for their status? * How expensive will it be, if i want to use a lawyer to fill the forms or Is it feasible for me to fill these forms by myself & do it all with out the help of any Lawyers?
