Urgent !! A complication!! Need Help

My 6th year on H1B ends July 2012 and I am working for company A who have already filed for my Green Card in early October 2011. Now Company B has acquired my company. The name of the company remains the same but they are probably going to move us to another city where they have an office. How does this affect my Green card process???

1) Do we have to apply for Green Card again if I move to another location (another city)

2) MY visa extension beyond 6th yr depends on I140 so should I wait till visa extension to move to another city.

Please help as They are soon going to ask us to move to another city and I am confused as no one will clearly help me out here.
