Q-Has anyone ever filed an immigrant petition on your behalf with the USCIS? I have my I140 approved with current employer and appearing for stamping soon. I have filled 'No' as I read somewhere that if applied to 485 we should answer 'Yes'. If I have to change this answer, do I need to fill another DS160 and link it to same appointment? desi_guy123 Posted November 4, 2011 Report Share Posted November 4, 2011 I'm not sure about yes or no..but you can edit the ds160...go to the page where you have started ds160 ..using application id you can retrieve the application and edit it. Link to comment
aboppana Posted November 4, 2011 Report Share Posted November 4, 2011 you definitely need to change the answer to 'Yas' as I-140 is the immigrant petition. but not sure if you will have to rebook the appointment if you change it now. Link to comment
