TM_123
Hi, We are planning to visit Canada for tourist purpose less than 30 days, My wife came here on F1 stamped on her passport, after finishing her Masters she got the job changed her status in to H1 recently she has changed another employer with approved new H1. She didn't attend stamping once she changed form F1 to H1 since she didn't leave the country. can she use Automatic Visa Re validation rule with valid I94 to visit Canada for less than 30 days ? I appreciate your help. Link to comment
livliv
Yes, she can do that. Attach the H1 I-94 to the previous F1 I-94. Somebody on this forum did the same recently. Link to comment
TM_123
Thanks livliv. I didn't understand whats you said about Attach the H1 I-94 to the previous F1 I-94. what I understood is we have to attach her F1 I-94 to I797 is it correct ? can you elaborate more. Appreciate you help. Link to comment
livliv
It is not a big deal. Just show both I-94's to the inspection officer when you enter the US. When she leaves the US in the future (for home country or anything other than Canada/Mexico), she has to submit all the I-94's to the airline. Link to comment
