DS-160 Picture Upload

Hello all,

what is the best way to scan passport picture for ds 160 form?

I know CVS and Duane Reade don't email passport pictures... What is the best way to upload picture?

Please advise...

Use a good quality scanner - available at most Fedex kinkos

take ur picture against white background using a camera or a cell phone. Crop it to 2*2 and upload it.. and while going for interview carry the passposrt photo that you got from CVS or DR

Dude, Just get a picture taken at CVS or Walgreens and ask them to load the soft copy into your USB drive. I have done it myself.

just scan in good qualiy scanner and upload it.

Please note that DS160 form requires photos in higher resolution i.e. at least 600 dpi or above. The one that I scanner using colored printer @work was not acceptable due to lower resolution. I went to Kinkos/FedEx and they scanned one for me and handed me in my personal flash drive. I then uploaded it on DS160 form and got approved by the system.

is it ok if we submit DS160 selecting 'proceed without photo' and submit regular photo that meets the requirement at the time of the interview in person?
