rose7
Hi, How long time USCIS will take to generate the receipt number? I apply my H1B transfer case on 24th October and USCIS received my file on 26th October but we have not received the receipt number yet. I see my file is reached to USCIS by using FedEx tracking number. I apply the transfer in premium processing in Vermont services center. Can you please let me know what should I need to do to get the receipt number? Can I able to check with USCIS? Can I able to work with new company using this FedEx number? Please advice. sank_PWD
For CSC it generally takes couple of days! However, the website is not very reliable, you may find both the receipt number (backdated) and the approval notice on the same day. Your attorney may check with them. Link to comment
Immusa
Any idea? I am still wondering my receipt number. Receipt number can be sent to your attorney or employer. one more way would be, while USCIS encashing the checks they print the receipt no on the back of the checks. So you may check with you employer if checks were encashed? Link to comment
