Hi Belle & others,

My I140 got approved with old priority date with the same A#.

Old priority date - 04/04/2004

I485 files date - Sept 10, 2007

I140 Approval date - 08/03/2011.

New priority date - 04/04/2004 (I140 approved petition)

Opened an SR for interfile on Aug 22nd 2011.

Opened another SR on Oct 19th to check the status on pending I485. Till now there is no response on the SR's and LUD is still sept 10, 2007.

Please suggest what can I do next ?

Wait for a few more weeks. If no response, take an InfoPass and ask if eveything is in order. You also may want to consider a case problem report with the CIS Ombudsman.

If you did not recieve a response or if you recieved an improper response for your SR. Send an email to the followup email id in your Service center . For eg : tsc.ncscfollowup@dhs for texas with the below info.

Subject : I-485 multiple I-140s - Referral ID# <SR Number>.

Body should contain the below info.

Referral ID : <SR Number>

485 Receipt No :

A# :

IO Id no who raised the SR

Date of SR :

Explain the problem:

I did the above and got a proper response in 1 day.

If the above doesn't work..contact your congressman's office..that will get you moving..

The above steps worked for me and mine got approved 2 days back.

Both the SR's what where opened where by my company's paralegal. Should I ask her to send the mail to the above mentioned email address with the mentioned format.

My case is being processed in nebraska should I ask her to send to Nebraska or Texas ?

Did you open any SR's for escalating the case?

you don't have to wait for the paralegal to do it..If I were you i would get the details from the paralegal and do it myself..that way i have more control..you should send the email to the nebraska followup email id (could be found on the uscis contact list).

My paralegal received a response from USCIS for 2nd "SR" what she had opened on my behalf.

Below are details.

"Your case is currently under review by an officer. You should receive a decision or notice of other action within 60 days of the date of this letter"

Please advise what should be my next step?

Based on my experience...

Thats good. I got the same status and in a few days mine got approved. I think ..its just wait and watch for you..and you should get in a few days..
