Urgent Help - I 94 date with Old Passport expiration date

I have entered US last year on H1b Visa.

My H1b Visa is valid till December 2012 But i got I 94 till December 2011 reason because my old passport has an expiration date of December 2011.

I have got the new passport couple months before.

Now i am planning on visiting India in the first week of December for a month.

while coming back to USA, do i need to go for stamping of H1b visa in the new passport even though when i have the h1b visa valid till next year in the old passport valid.

(or)

I can just come back with old and new passports because the old passport has visa till December 2012.

Please please help me with the situation.

Just carry both passports and latest approval notice. I-94 will be according to approval notice.
