gkmadhav Posted October 31, 2011 Report Share Posted October 31, 2011 Hi I have my H1B stamping valid till Feb 23 2012, i have to leave the country and coming back in Jan. Ofcourse i have a new I-797 which is valid till Jan 2014. Now my question is can i show the immigration officer in US port of entry my new I-797 to get my I-94 extended ? Is there a chance that he wont extend it based on my I-797 and only gives I-94 valid untill my H1B stamping validty ? What are the possibilities. Link to comment
