krishhkanth Posted October 29, 2011 Report Share Posted October 29, 2011 I received approval for H1B from L1B on 10/24.I have not applied for L2 to H4 transfer for my spouse along with me.How many days is fine to be on L2 while I start applying for H4 in the mean time? Link to comment

In this situation, filing a late petition or travel should be considered to get yoru wife back in status. In general, extension or change of status applications should be filed for dependent family members that are in the US when the primary applicant is the beneficiary of a petition (such as H1B or L1).
