H1B transfer work authorization

Hi

I am planning to change my employer from companyA to companyB and want some information on H1 transfer. I want to know that if in case my H1B transfer case is approved while still being companyA, will I be authorized to work with my present company [companyA] for some days, say 15 days and then start my work with the new company [companyB].

Or is it like as soon as my H1B transfer is approved, I need to start working with the new company [companyB]. Please help !!

Although you are permitted to begin working for Company B upon the timely filing of a valid H1B change of employer petition, you must begin working for that new employer as of the start date on the approval notice. If you do not make yourself available for work with the new employer as of the start date on the approval, you may fall out of status.
