rajreddys
My I-140 approved notice has the last letter missing in my last name. My attorney has sent a note to USCIS about this and they responded back saying that it will be corrected in the 485 stage. Also, the approval copy did not have my original priority date even after submitting the I-140 approval copy from the previous company. Please suggest if there are any steps to be taken to have the Last Name corrected and having the correct priority date on the approval copy. Link to comment
rajreddys
I just knew that the application was filled with incorrect last name. The same typo is carried on the receipt and the approval copies for my I140. Would anyone suggest what has to be done to get it fixed. Should I wait to get it resolved in the 485 stage. Please suggest!!! Link to comment
Attorney_9
You can call NCSC about typographical errors and priority date errors. If information was incorrectly inpu into the I-1490 form it may be necessary to fil an I-824 application to get a duplicate corrected I-140 approval notice. Thank you Link to comment
