Changing from EB3 to EB2 within same company

Looking @ the progress on EB2 and slow progress @ EB3 level i was wondering if it is possible for me to re-apply for EB2 within the same organization, since my EB3 i have got few promotions and might be eligible for EB2

When applied earlier for the GC ..my job's requirement was only Bachelors degree and despite of having a masters i was not able to apply in EB2 and had to settle for EB3, however after my promotion my job's requirement is Masters and I should be able to apply in EB2

I have got my I-145 and just waiting for dates to become current

Please Advice
