siquadri
Hi, Question 1: I have recently take FTE postion at Client company. The Client company (now my employer) is not providing me original I-797, they gave me the lower portion of it i.e I-94. My employer's attorney says that the original needs to be with company and i can get a copy with a notary. But my understanding is we need original at the time of stamping. Please explain if i am missing something. Question 2: I went for stamping in 2009 to ottawa. I had to pay some fee at scotia bank at that time. I say couple of ottawa stamping post and i dont see any mention of that. So, is it not required any more. Question 3: On this website: http://usvisa-info.com/en-CA/selfservice/ss_country_welcome I dont see where i can pay $150 to see appointment. Question 4: If i apply for canadian multiple visitor visa. How many days visa will i get. Last time i got 6 months visa. Is there possibility of getting 3 years visitor visa. Question 5: I am not sure when i would be able to go to canada for stamping. I many time do things improptu. So, i am thinking to have the canadian visa ready in my passport. Is it free to reschedule appointment at US consulate Ottawa. Appreciate reply for my questions. DontWorryBeHappy
Q1: You must have Original I-797 at the time of stamping. Don't take chance. Tell your employer that you will return it once you come back. Q2-5: I have no idea. Link to comment
