Waiting time after medicals

Hi,

On Oct 17th, 2011(Yesterday) my medical reports has been sent to chennai consulate and today I called up consulate to confirm she said we have received your medicals and has been sent to counselor. I just crossed my fingers and waiting.

At the point of interview time VO clearly told me that you H1B is approved but you need to go through Panel Physician for the final decision and on 221-g asked only court documents and medical report.

I have two questions

1) How long they take for the decision(appx time)? After going through this forum I saw few cases got approval with in 3 weeks few cases got approval in a month time.

2) Since VO told me that we do not have any problem with your H1b is there any chance to issue 221-g for my H1b?
