Travelling to Ottawa for first time H1 stamping - Flight Vs Road?

Hi Guys,

Can someone tell me if traveling to Ottawa is better by road or by Flight?

Meaning from an immigration check point of view which option is better - Flight Vs Road?

I know that there are fair chances of getting stuck at the Port of Entry even after getting the H1 stamped?

I have a visa appointment on Oct'31 in Ottawa?

Can you please give me the detail process for the stamping in Canada. Is there any website i can follow. I have no clue on how to start the processing...

It doesn't matter as long as you know what is the purpose of your stay. So choose the way which is convenient for you. Good luck for your stamping!

You need to setup your account in the below link

choose your nearest consulate in Canada & start filling out DS-160 forms after which you'll be able to schedule your visa appointment

You then have to walk in to a Canadian consulate for your visitor visa

If we go by road, what if the VISA gets rejected? May be a stupid question.

If your visa gets rejected then there' no way we can come back into US - we have to go to our home country.

I am going to ottawa for H1B stamping.I have two I-94 (white card in my passpprot when i re-entered US on F-1 and green I-94 attached to the lower portion of I-797A). Which I-94 i need to surrender at airport before leaving US???
