First time H1B stamping.

Hi;

I was earlier working for a client company "X" in USA thru one Indian consultant company in L1 visa and I carry Indian passport. Last month i was hired by a company "Y" in USA and company "Y" sponsored H1B for me. I got my petition approved and started working from Oct 3, 2011. This company "Y" is one of the fortune 500 companies and I am a direct employee.

As a first timer, Can I do my visa stamping either at Canada or Mexico?

I am planning to go India during Dec end. If i stamp in India what is the chance of getting stamped without RFE? Which US consulate in India is safeer in terms of RFE issue?
