H1b Stamping Admin Processing

Attended visa interview on Oct 11th 2011.

Time: 10:15 AM.

E-V-C model.

I am working for a federal client.

I was sent to one counter first. He asked me if i have a middle layer, i said yes. immediately sent me to a different counter.

VO: You did MS in US?

Me: Yes

Vo: which univ?

Me: ABC

VO: WHo is your client?

Me:XYZ

VO: work place address?

Me: xxxxxx

VO:Client Letter?

Me: Submitted

I have transferred my H1 from xxx employer to yyy 4 months back. I was with the same client after the Transfer. VO asked me did you get any benefits. and took the previous employer letter and I797.

Asked me few questions abt project manager at my client place.

Some lady came and both of the discussed something watching the screen.

He kept all the documents, both i797, client letters, lca, i129 etc. and returned my passport saying i will be placed under admin processing.

I didn't get any forms or numbers.On Oct 12th online status was upadated to under processing.

On Oct 14th i got an email from hyd consulate office saying come and cancel personally your previous petition as it is still active.

Please let me know if anyone having same situation.

I've had the same issue with not receiving any 221g or forms but I never received any emails from the consulate yet. My interview was on 4th october and the status online still says the passport is under processing at the embassy but my passport was returned to me just like yours.

Is this your first stamping? did they kept any documents with them?
