mickykuty Posted October 14, 2011 Report Share Posted October 14, 2011 Hi, My lawyer filed for my H1B in Aug 2011 and sent me a receipt notice with in week, but am not able to track my case in the online USCIS system. Its been almost two months since the date of filing.How do i check my case's status. I also tried their phone service, which also states that my case in not available.Though my lawyer says that when he checked with the USCIS, they say there is a glitch and it might take some time... I really do know whether my h1b is filed or not! so how do i check? Thanks for your help in advance! Link to comment
Attorney_7 Posted October 17, 2011 Report Share Posted October 17, 2011 In general, an original receipt notice from the USCIS is a reliable proof that the case has been filed. Murthy Law Firm has also recently contacted the USCIS regarding the delay in their online case status system. The USCIS acknowledged that they are currently experiencing a significant delay in updating the online case status. Link to comment
