pray4sai
Hi, I have stayed in USA around 5 years. I came to India as part of my family emergency (My mother passed away). However, before travel to India (05/20), my employer applied to H1B VISA extension because it is getting ended on 10/2011 .Fortunately, it was approved and I got 3 year extension because i am in I-140 status. After three weeks, I went for stamping at delhi consulate office but my VISA refused and I was given 221(G). I have submitted all requested documents and my passport on three months ago but no updates as of now from embassy. 1. In this pathetic situation, can I withdraw my case and transfer my petition to different employer? is it ok ? If you say yes, how it works? 2. If i wait until period of decision making but in case my VISA gets refused and send petition to USICS. What are all other options? Interview attended: June22nd, 2011 Received: 221g green form Model:EVC Submitted docs on: June 30th, 2011 at Delhi VFS VFS requested me to drop passports at nearest VFS center : July 14 2011 Since 20th of July, I have been tracking my passport at VFS site but status is showing that “Your Passport is under process at U.S Embassy/Consulate”. Someone please help on my this.. Your input is really appreciated. Thanks in Advance! Best Regards, Link to comment

man_1975
@Pray4sai, If they requested your passport later then there will be good chance to get visa. Just wait, you may get visa. Link to comment
