Please follow any instructions on the notice. This case is being processed at our LINCOLN, NE location. If this I140 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR ALIEN WORKER is still pending, you will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call ourcustomer service center at 1-800-375-5283. During the acceptance step USCIS reviews newly received applications and petitions to ensure that they are properly filed (i.e. signed by the applicant, appropriate fees, etc.) USCIS issues a receipt number for the application or petition, and sends a receipt notice to the applicant or petitioner. Sincerely, The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) -------------------------------------------------------- my I-140 got approved in 2008 and my priority date is current since july 2011 now my I-140 went back to Acceptance State from Approved State Is this something to worry about? i'm feeling nervous now Link to comment
I140Questions Posted October 8, 2011 Report Share Posted October 8, 2011 I got the same email on 10/5/2011. I am not sure what this is, as my I-140 was approved in september 2011, and now I got this email. My lawyer so far has not received any amended notice. Did you get the amended notice? If yes, then can you please let me know what it said? Thanks... Link to comment

I140Questions Posted October 10, 2011 Report Share Posted October 10, 2011 Hi there, So in my case there was an error on the I-140 approval notice that was previously issues, and my lawyers requested that it be amended, which is why i got the amended notice. According to the lawyers, it not affect my other application processing. Hope it is the same case with you. Confirm with your lawyer.... Link to comment
