Transformer
I believe there are no country quotas in VISAS unlike Green Cards. Which VISA category you are interested in and for what? Link to comment

nipukumar
Well folks finally found the medicine myself without seeing a doctor. If any one is interested to know how many VISAs or so called "green card" are allocated each FY country wide here is the link to follow. On DHS website, dhs.gov/files/statistics/publications/LPR10.shtm. Look for Table heading "Persons Obtaining Legal Permanent Resident Status by Broad Class of Admission and Region and Country of Birth: Fiscal Year 2010" As per the table in FY2010 india got 31,118 EB green card. FY 2011 report will be out around 2012. I was curious to know. If GC gets allocated at this rate to EB India, how long it would take get GC if PD is on 2011? Link to comment
