Should I continue with company's (consulting firm) attorney who has done H1 and I-140 or is its advisable to get another attorney for I-485 filling? Is there conflict of interest in going with the company's attorney? Would another attorney take the case more seriously and focus on the details? I would really appreciate a reply if you have made that move and succeeded or have any other options for me. Link to comment
Belle Posted October 4, 2011 Report Share Posted October 4, 2011 You may hire a different attorney, but there is no guarantee that attorney will do a better job. Even your company's attorney is supposed to look out for your interests in I-485 filing. If you are concerned about a conflict of interest or your own privacy, then it might be beneficial to hire your own. Link to comment
