How close before H1B visa expiry - Travel to india and return

Hi,

I am working fulltime for US company for more than 5 years and i have approved 1-140 and valid H1 visa stamping until 5th Feb,2012.

I am planning to travel to india in Dec'11-Jan'12. Will there be any issue or do i need to go for re-stamping/renewal if i return just one month before to my visa expiry?

I don't want to go for renewel looking at the current Query/holds. Thanks

I would suggest you NOT to go for visa stamping at this time. You can still enter US with a valid visa. Last time, i came 20 days before my visa expiry date. I was having a valid I797 though.
