timmyali Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 I got my Green Card. Filed on EB-2 (priority date was current as I am from PK). My 485 receipt date was June 15th. Got my GC on Sept 15th. However, my wife has not received hers yet (we applied her based on me. She got her work permit on the same day I got mine). Does any one know how long will it take her to receive her GC after I got mine?
Belle Posted September 28, 2011 Report Posted September 28, 2011 It is not unusual for a derivative to be approved later. Depending the hold up, it may actually take years for her to get her application approved. She should wait out the maximum processing time for the service center and then file a service request for delayed processing. There is really nothing she can do now.
