H1B Visa with 30+ days validity - Issue in POE?

I got my H1B Visa stamped on 8th Aug 2011 but my Visa expiry date is 30th Sep 2011 since my H1B petition was valid till 30th Sep 2011 only.

I am traveling on 27th Aug 2011 with just 30+ days visa validity, can you pls. answer these

1. Will there any problem at port of entry ?

2. Can we file extension of h1b petition before entring into US i.e without I94? so that I can carry that extention receipt during travel ?
