Patta Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 Hi All, I really need guidance and information on the below questions I have as far as transferring my H1B to a new employer. 1.I am currently working on H1B with a employer A. I give up a interview and assume that employer B initiates my H1B transfer and it gets approved. In this situation can I still work for employer A buying some time with employer B, even though my transfer is already over. 2.Do companies normally cancel the employees H1B once they leave to another company. Thanks Patta
Transformer Posted June 8, 2011 Report Posted June 8, 2011 1.Yes, you can continue to work for Employer A though your petition is transferred until the validity of the petition from Employer A. 2.No. Since it's been already transferred he (old employer) can't do anything. They don't even know unless you tell them.
