Company merge and new GC process (I140 approved on previous)

From my previous company I had labour and I140 approved in EB3. Our company got merged to another company and new company is going to start GC process again. My question is - What will happen to previous approved process, in case if date becomes current can company file 485 on previous process?

Hi I got similar situation ,I got PD current on 140 approved from old company.Is my PD is still valid.
