JOB change after I 140 APPROVAL

Hello ,

My I- 140 was approved 7 months ago.

I have 6 months left to reach 6 th year of H1B.

If I do H1B transfer now to the new employer, can I get 3 years of extension with the new employer as I have approved I 140 ?

OR I have to extend h1b with current employer only and then I should change the job.?

I would appreciate your responses.
