H1b extension pending and new offer

Hi All

My 1st term h1b ends on end of August.

also my i 94 expires on end of Aug.

my employer has filed for extension in premium.

and got RFE. he is in process of getting client letter .

now i have a new offer.

if new company files for H1, and meanwhile if my present employer submits the cleint letter to USCIS and if my present extension got denied, will it have effect on my new H1 processing. ?

should i join the new company before my present h1 extension decision is made ?

what happens if my present employer never replies to RFE, after my resignation ?

Am in same situation...

I have a extension to H1B applied and got a RFE. For which company responded on 25th August 2011. have not heard anything yet from the USCIS.

1. Is it advisable for company to file for H1B again while we wait for the current petiion's decision?

2. How does H1B Portability rule work if i apply for H1B through another company?

My H1 expires on 19th Sept 2011. I have a I 140 approved.
