mehreenm79 Posted September 2, 2011 Report Posted September 2, 2011 Hi, My passport expires in jan 2013 and i am going to canada for my h1b stamping in Oct 2011 with my new h1b, which will expire on Oct 2014. When my passport expires, and I renew it, can I still travel abroad or will I have to go through the visa stamping process all over again? ty.
mehreenm79 Posted September 3, 2011 Author Report Posted September 3, 2011 Actually, let me rephrase my question. When I return from visa stmaping, at the us border, will they issue me an I-94 valid only until my passport expiry, which is 2013, or will I94 be valid until my H1B visa, which is 2014?
