shyls Posted September 11, 2011 Report Posted September 11, 2011 My 6th year H1B via is expiring in Jan 2012. I have my I-140 denied and the motion to re-consider for I-140 denial is in process. For my company to extend my H1B after the 6th year, i have to be out of the country for 30 days... I have done my 1st H1-B visa stamping in Metamoros,Mexico. Can I go to canada and get my H1 Visa stamping? Do I have to go to the home country to get the H1 stamping? (is that a rule?) ----since i have done my 1st H1 stamping in Mexico, Is it neccessary, i have to get the second stamping in india, my home country?
