H4 to any work visa - Advice Please

My wife has a couple of Masters in Engg. She also worked for an year before reverting to H4. Now she has an internship/ 3 month assignment which has potential to translate into a full time post the 3 month period. I'm trying to explore if there's any way in which she can work for the 3 months. Someone suggested that there is a part time provision in H1B. If so is this something I can pursue? Also I heard about H2B. Could this be pursued as an alternative? If any of these routes are possible what are the possible risks?
