I-485 (EB-2) Approval Notice Received in 2.5 Months from TSC

Though this is my first posting, I did obtain useful information during my LPR process, and so want to thank the members here.

I received the approval notice for I-485 today, which came unexpectedly sooner than I expected. It was filed on March 28, 2011.

Here's my timeline:

Feb 11, 2011: DOL PERM Filed

Feb 28, 2011: DOL PERM Approved

Mar 28, 2011: I-140 (EB-2, Advanced Degree, with Premium Processing), I-485 (PD current), I-765, I-131 filed concurrently to Texas Service Center

Mar 31, 2011: I-140 Approved

Apr 16, 2011: Biometric FR Notice for May 6, 2011

May 6, 2011: ASC visit for FR

June 20, 2011: I-131 Approval Notice received

June 22, 2011: I-485 Approval Notice received

USCIS shows the processing time for I-485 at TSC as about 6 months, but the approval came back in less than 3 months. Other members may be able to expect the same.

No, this is my first I-140. I graduated in 5/2009 (with a job offer and approved FY2010 H-1B petition in hand), used OPT from 6/2009 through 11/2009, then H-1B from 11/2009 until now.

To my surprise and amazement, I received my physical green card today (6/23/2011), which came via Priority Mail.

I wonder if the Premium Processing filing for the I-140 has anything to do with the expedient approval of I-485 and GC issuance; any thoughts?

I had my finger printing done yesterday (July/01/2011). PD is current. I-140 approved with premium processing.

If I am lucky (which is unlikely) like you then I should get I-140 approval next month.
