EB1C I140 approved, Timelines for I485

Hello All,

I got my I140 approved under EB1-C in March 2011 and did my Biometrics in July 2011. My PD is 2008. My application is with NSC.

I have the following questions:

1) How long does it take to get EAD/AP after I140 is approved?

2) How long until i get my I485 approved? (I filed for my I485 after my I140 got approved in May).

3) I read that I485 involves background checks, i assume that all of this should be automated and quick? Any ideas how long it is expected to take to be done with this?

Anyone has some experiences to share?

1. We got our EAD/AP after 3 months of applying.

Thanks Rickie. I just got my EAD and AP approved today! Waiting for the card to arrive...

Looks like I485 approval is my next wait...
