L1 to H1 COS - Very Very Urgent, Please help

I am currently in L1B and applied for PP COS to H1B (H1 Petition already approved in 2009 as consular process) few weeks back. After lot of struggle with RFE, i got the COS approved. Please help me on below questions,

1. How long does it take to get the hard copy of new petition and I-94.

2. After lot of request, i managed to hold the project till now. My Vendor/client had given me last/final date to join this week. Is it legal to work for H1 with online approval email and before getting Docs/I-94?

3. What are the chances of not getting new I-94?

4. Can i resign L1 Company?

Please Please share your thoughts.

Friends, I really felt how hard it is to get the H1 approved nowadays. I pray/wish this gets better soon.

Once the H1 is approved, you can join the company you dont have to wait for the hard copy.

ask the company lawyer since he should get an email with the I94 number and approval details..that should be enough for you to start a job.
