H1B transfer after visa is expired and H1B extended

Friend,

Employer1 files an extension for H1B since the visa is expired ( 3 years not used on it and only 9 months are used)

can I still take a employment with Employer2 and transfer my extension(technically), I do not have a valid visa anymore,

to work with Employer 2, will the new Employer file for a fresh H1B for me?

please advice...
