H1 renewal stamping in Canada/Mexico if moved to different employer

My visa is expiring in Sep and I am still waiting for my H1 extension approval after the rfe was answered.Do I have a chance to go to Canada/Mexico for my stamping or do I need to go to India to get the stamping done.I am really confused since the new H1 would be from a different employer and I am not sure if I can still go to Canada/Mexico.Can anyone please solve this confusion.
